Your connection is not private

Hello!

When you trying to visit some websites (youtube, facebook...) they won't load and I'm getting the error below:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.example.com (for example, passwords, messages, bank information or credit cards).

NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

My computer is running Windows 10 Pro. Anyone has the same problem ?

  • Hi lan anh hieu,

    This could be for a number of reasons but all pretty easily rectified. Which browser are you using? I'll give you some potential fixes assuming you are using Chrome.

    1. Check your system time. Sometimes if your system time doesn't align with various server, router, or other network managed time parameters, it can give you this error. Use NTP if you can. If it was already correct, go to #2, if you had to adjust it, reset your browser and try again.

    2. If fixing the time didn't work, If you are using an anit-virus program, check the settings and look for either "HTTPS Scanning" or "Scan SSL". Make sure either of those is set to off or disabled.

    3. Clear browser history, especially cache, cookies, and browsing data.

    4. If all else fails, try clicking the advanced button. It should reveal a "proceed" button. Hit that and get going.

    Hope this helped.  Cheers!
