To have MTA mail scanning (IMAP en SMTP ) working on my LAN networked devices

I receive my mails from My ISP (imap.telenet.be)
My devices connect to the XG Firewall with DHCP

I can receive my mails and stuff, but there 's no IMAP/SMTP scanning working

you cannot achive both MTA and transparent scan at the same time.

What you are trying to achieve is the IMAP/POP/SMTP scanning in transparent mode, so make sure to:

• switch email protection to transparent mode under Email > General Settings > Transparent mode
• Delete the Auto Added MTA Firewall rule
• Create a new business application rule and use the template "Email Client"
• In this BAR, put the LAN and all the resources that will access and use IMAP/POP3/SMTP scan features

Take note that XG cannot avoid SPAM to reach the user's mailbox. XG will only change the subject's header.

The LAN and WAN must be reverted.

Source is LAN, Destination is WAN.

OK, seems to be working now with the mail app (Postbox)
Not working with Thunderbird ???

If it works with one Application, it should work also with another one.

Check logs and your Thunderbird configuration.
