DHCP lease renews every minute - inactiv access point

We have the following problem with a XG85w and a Sophos AP55.

The ap connects to the firewall -> Receives an IP via DHCP -> Is listed and can also be added via wireless protection -> But the AP will only appear as inactive on the firewall.

- the cables / port have already been replaced / switched  
- the ap connects to the internet and packets are coming back

The AP is always pingable always for the same timeperiod ~ 35 seconds , then it stops for about 1 minute and continues like this all the time.

    What are the lights on the AP showing as? Has this AP ever worked or did it transition to inactive on first try?

    Do you use an internal DHCP server or the XG?

    If you haven't yet, try deleting the AP and then re-adding.

    The customer said, that the AP wasn't also not working in another infrastruktur with a XG85w.

     

    It's an internal DHCP server on the XG.

    We already tried this :)

     

    I think the AP fails to boot in some way, thats why it always refreshes its dhcp link.
