Do not close this windows, closing this windows will log you out . Captive Portal.

Hi Team,

 

I have configured the Captive Portal in Sophos XG  Firewall Version:16.5.After that i have created the local user in firewall and successfully login in captive portal but i have a little problem the issue is when i close the Captive Portal login page the firewall log me out. Is there a way if i closed the Captive Portal login screen he will not log me out? Actually this login page annoying the client and the client don't want to give password again if the login page is accidentally closed.

please guide me if there are anyway.

    Ali,

    go under Authentication > Services and at the bottom of the page (under captive portal) play with the options "preserve captive portal after login" or redirect to url.

    The captive portal is used to understand when the user disconnects from the system. Use and adjust even the user idle timeout options.
