Sophos XG Firewall v17.0 Beta Released

Quick question though, this would be the first time I have done a download of the file to install direct on the hardware.

I have a XG105w that I use at home for testing, before I update the two 205s we have at both our offices.

Which file should I download to upgrade from 16 to 17.

This is a "Beta" release.. your OFFICE kit is not LIVE Production is it? I se on the download list there are version for CLEAN install and UPGRADE..

I Take this one SW-SFOS_17.0.0_Beta-1.SFW-32.gpg to update my Sophos XG home from SFOS 16.05.6 MR7 to SFOS 17.0 beta.

After reboot my configuartion is gone. I must take the 172.16.16.16 IP to come on webinterface an install sophos xg for new. The backup file will not be accepted.

When I´m in webinterface I start the machine with the old SFOS 16.05.6 MR7 firmware. My Configuration is back an the sophos home runs normal.

Noooo Rufus, Im not that silly. ;-)

I have a virtual lab that I run a couple of XG appliances on, simulating our site to site link. The only 'production' unit I have that I try these things out on is the little 105w I have at home. I use that for doing some real world tests.

I will only update the production units in the offices once the GM has been out for a week or so with no major problems reported.

I don't see the new log viewer, it still looks like the current log viewer, only this one has a test policy tab.
