SSL VPN behind Router and Dynamic IP Adress

Hi,

 

together i need help with the Configuration of an SSL VPN over an dynamic DSL IP Adress. As DynDNS Service i wan´t to use the Sophos Server.

I registerd an myfirewall.co Adress. In the Router i can see the IP is matched wit my DSL.

 

I configured SSL VPN and the Access wo the User Portal over WAN. In the Managment Settings i allow Access to the User Portal over WAN. But it is not working. Over LAN yes, but not over XXX.myfirewall.co.

 

Also the VPN is not working. I get following Error Message. Sorry it is in German.

 

failed, will try again in 5 seconds: Das System hat versucht, einem Verzeichnis, das sich auf einem mit JOIN zugeordneten Laufwerk befindet, ein Laufwerk mit SUBST zuzuordnen.

 

Is there a config i forgot? Is Port Forwarding from the Router needed? The Problem is the Speedport has it´s one Network for Privat and the Company Network is behind the Sophos.

    Kristof,

    make sure to port forward tcp 8443 from your Router to XG wan port.

    For the dymanic IP, you can use DDNS inside the XG from Network > DDNS tab and then override the vpn hostname from VPN > Show vpn settings > SSL.
