Logfile error : Signature disk Usage reached 99% exceeding the threshold of 90%

Question

I am using Sophos XG running on a virtual machine using SFOS 16.05.6 MR-6 firmware. 
 When trying to upgrade to "VI-SFOS_16.05.7_MR-7.HYV-305" I got the following error " Firmware could not be upgraded due to partition issue " then I looked at my system logfile and saw the same message "Signature disk Usage reached 99% exceeding the threshold of 90%" repeated each minute. 
 
 I tried to clear the Device Reports using the the console but without help. 
 
 Any help ??

Hi Gilles, 
 You may need to consider the primary disk allocated to 80 GB as you have added 2 partitions the OS will not consider the second disk. If you could change the disk of 80 GB to primary then it should work. But you may need to install on the 80GB disk again.

 Save the XG configuration and import it on another new vm by installing XG from scratch.

 as Ian wrote, HDD capacity should be at least 80 GB. If the HDD is lower, replace it otherwise you can flush the device reports using console options 5 > 4.
