After MR7 , IPS Pattern fails to update 3.13.89

i have the same problem the status for " IPS and Application signatures  " it's updating after update to MR7

Yours is updating, that is showing the latest patterns.

My main XG shows completed and my test XG shows downloading.

I am on v17 GA and the issue still persists. Client and WAF still report failed status.

On v17 GA IPS pattern update is failed... So problem is not fixed...

did you install XG from scratch (I mean from v17) or is it an upgrade from a 16.5 version?

Today Im check update patterns and looks like automatic pattern update has fix issue... And now everything look normal:

If Sophos does not release a new Client and WAF patterns, they will always be reported as Failed.

If that helps ...  We are upgrading since v15.x

yesterday Authentication Client pattern has been updated, so I only have WAF pattern in failed state.

Waiting for MR4 or v18 beta.

there is no MR-4 for non sophos hardware, we go straight to MR-5. I thought in jest is that there are only two developers seeing how long each of these minor iterations take. We are taking them away from developing v18 while they fix our (according to some) minor issues and missing functions? LOL
