After MR7 , IPS Pattern fails to update 3.13.89

After this night all issues were self fixed ;-)
IPS is updating now, and e-mails are coming out!

My brand new XG built from 5.7 mr7 iso has all but WAF up todate.

So does my main XG, WAF last updated Jan 2017.

Not using WAF at the moment so no great issue for me.

You have the latest updates as of now for both IPS and AV and would believe the UI issue caused the stats to Failed.

Hi,

 I have tried to move SG 230 to XG 230 ( ie go from UTM v9.502 to XG v16 MR7 ). Reinstallation of the system occurred without any problems and the registration process is actually significantly better and was correctly completed.

But after the first reboot the gateway shown the Pattern Updates errors, resp. still shows errors when are updated some patterns. Nor another restart to resolve the issue.

at least you can open a ticket for it. It seems that a fix should come and it is only a GUI error.

i'm another one with this issue, but i also have the Sophos AV pattern FAILED, ideas?

Update. Sophos AV pattern is showing update since late in the 1st Sept.

All other pattern/firmware are showing acceptable dates on the main XG.

only for AV engines, go to /content/savi_new and move the U2DVERSION to another name and wait for the next pattern. Sophos and Avira will update correctly.

The same workaround does not work on other patterns and even on AV fails after some updates.

It is a know bug so we have to wait I guess MR8 (maybe this month or next one).

good  news, as of today 3rd Sep all my patterns are showing updated successfully and the AV has the 3rd, the IPS is showing 1st Sep.

IPS still reporting the 1st of September.

Mine showing last update as the 7th September (3.13.94) but last update failed.

IPS is now reporting 8th Sep and still downloading, today is the 11th Sep.

Is this the current version or is it now out of date?

As far as I can tell that is the latest version, mine is still stuck downloading.

I can confirm the same version of IPS 3.13.94.

Thank you both for the replies. It's put my mind at rest for now and I'll keep an eye on the version numbers for a while and see if it increases. If anyone else sees this and has a later version of the update, please comment with your current release version number, thanks.

This is the situation of pattern at the moment.

Waiting for MR8 which should come this month. We had a new MR every month.
