Could an XG 85 manage a VDSL 100/20 or 200/20 for a small office?

Hi everyone,

A simple question for some expert: I'm opening a new office, it will be composed by just 3-4 PCs, I wanna know if an XG 85 is enough to handle an internet connection FTTC/VDSL with one of this 2 profiles: 100/20 or 200/20 without bandwidth cut? I mean with main services on (IPS, Dos,firewall obviously and so on)?

    Thank you both for the answers! By the docs linked I've understood that I have to plan which functions to consider linked to the bandwidth reduction (because both the  210 and 310 are totally out of budget for me).  The branch office is quite small, just 2 fixed pcs with 2 employess and one roaming pc/user, the email are filtered at office365 level, so I think I'll need the basic firewall function, IPS and maybe DoS prevent mechanism.

    Hi Fabio, 

    If you would use only IPS which is your key feature, you may opt for XG-135 . But I would recommend you to contact our sales person or a partner to recommend the model for you.  You may opt for a demo to check if the model recommended suits you or not.

    Is there a way to check the "realworld" XG performance?  Any test?
