Please tell how much end users are supported by Sophos XG Home Edition firewall?

    home users cannot open tickets to the Sophos Support. The only way to get some support is here, from community. This is a place we help each other.

    as well you have most functionality, but are limited in CPU (4) and ram (6gb).

    We have a restriction of 4 cores and 6Gb of RAM. The question would remain for how many users are needed and how much $$ are you willing to invest in the hardware. Say if you have a top end processor of 8 cores then it would only use 4 cores i.e. 50% cores used of-course the performance will be better than the lower end processor of 4 cores.  But the question comes if you are using for the Home environment? 

    Normally it can handle > 10 for the low-performance processor and is scalable to a higher end.

    Sophos Home Should not be used for any organizations and is licensed to home users only.

    I would also like to add my 2c. I was a home user of UTM9 for more than 6 years and recently migrated to XG. This forum (whether UTM9 or XG) provides excellent support to home users. The forum contributors are very knowledgeable and respect each other. This is one of the few forums where I have never seen anyone being made fun of. Every question, no matter how simple, gets full attention from forum contributors. From simple to complex configurations, every issue receives full attention. So, I would say that home users need not worry about support, all thanks to forum contributors.
