When I go to add a static entry, I see the 'hostname' field. I entry a value, for example, server.local.lan. In my DHCP setup I have 'lan.local' setup.
However when I go to visit server.local.lan, it does not resolve. The only way it works is if I go to DNS and add a static entry but this is quite a pain to have to do this manually every time I add a static entry.
Is there something im missing or is this functionality not supported? What's the purpose of the hostname field when adding a static DHCP entry?
