Network issues during configuration

I'm currently setting up an XG 85 Firewall.

I've left everything as the default in the initial setup. I created a firewall rule that made the LAN AND WAN open.

I connected the firewall to our rack. Plugged in the cables to the LAN and WAN. I waited for a few minutes but our domain network never came online. I rebooted some workstations but nothing happened. Did I end up missing a step or configure something wrong?

Marc in addition to what Ian asked, can you clarify what you mean for " our domain never came online"?

Check that patterns are updated and check that match know users checkbox is not selected inside the firewall rule.
