AWED service dead, how to fix?

check that the service is running using advanced shell command:

service awed:status -dsnosync

Try to stop it and start it again using:

service awed:stop -dsnosync

service awed:start -dsnosync

I was looking for information about this and landed here. Had to figure it out. Incase it helps anyone in the future: This is caused by deactivating Wireless > Wireless Protection > Enable Wireless Protection.
