Ayman,

if the goal is to clone only the HDD and to keep the rest of the system (maybe because the HDD is small, damaged, etc.) use a third-party utility to clone the disk content. There are many freeware available on internet. If the goal is to move the HDD to another HW, the best thing is to install XG on the new HDD because Serial Number will change and even the licese attached to it.

You cannot change the serial number on XG, so proceed with a new installation in the second  case.
