"The operation will take time to complete. The status can be viewed from the Log Viewer page" I keep getting this message when I test quarantine digest.  I am also not able to release emails from user portal quarantine.  I get the same message.

 

Email is flowing fine.  I have this setup in MTA mode on an XG310  with (SFOS 16.01.1) running.  I have made sure my groups are setup for the QD.  I am sure it is something I am missing.

    Could you post the logs shown in the log viewer? Also could you take the packet capture of your mail port used to configure digest and post it here. You may obscure your email addresses for discretion.

  • Which log would you like from the Log Viewer?  Also the port you are referring to for packet capture is the Reference User portal IP?

    When you do a quarantined test you may need to take the packet capture between your Mail server. Also in log viewer, you may find system logs which should show the information. 

    There is also one more logs requirement  

    Access shell and go to option 5 -3 

    # tail -f /log/awarrensmtp.log      # and test the connection again . Share the output when done. 

    I suspect the issue with the connection with the mail server but this will help to isolate this issue.
