New AP Firmware - Release Notes?

Myself noticed that since some days there seems to be a new AP Firmware ready to install (Version 9.001).

Does anybody know what has changed/improved etc.?

Does anybody know why sophos doesn't make this changes public?

Hi,

AP Firmware version 9.001 has the AP side changes to support Kismet packet capturing tool and a minor bug fix on the UTM .

Firewall support for Kismet will be available in SFOSV17

We hope to see RN for both AP and RED the same day patterns are available on XG, so customers know the fixes, improvements.

Additionally it would be very nice to communicate the open bugs or known limitations for a specific release in the release notes as some other enterprise-vendors do.
