Can't get XG 115 to be cloud managed. Help.

Upgraded it to the newest firmware just now. Got central management setup with the correct domain address use1.cfm.sophos.com and left the rest of the settings default. When I add the device in the portal it asks for a ip address, so I give the public ip of the router, and the admin username and password and it tells me it cannot connect to the router. I've already requested and accepted management of this router as well. What it preventing this thing from remote managing this utm?

  • They did not reset. I've since changed the method to "Device will fetch" on the device itself as I think the device is behind a nat, however in the central firewall management of the device options, it will not let me select the radio option "Device will fetch". Any idea why?

  • Hi Greg,

you are getting beyond my memory. I built one, but deleted it when the XG software got too far ahead of the management software.
