Factory Reset AP15C

I have 2 AP15C that were adopted via cloud.sophos.com, but the time of using cloud has expired.

Now i have a Sophos XG 115 for centralize these 2 AP's but when i reboot them i dont see packets in 1.2.3.4 IP, soon i think these 2 AP's are still adopted via cloud sophos and i need reset these AP's for being adopted again.

Any Suggestions ?

  • Hi,

You cannot flush AP15 models, they are managed and updated by the XG update module. When you connect the AP to the XG, it will look for available updates for the AP modules and PUSH it after the download. Take SSH to the XG and restart awed services from the Advance Shell. Execute,

    service awed:restart -ds nosync

    Any help?

  • Hi, the problem was solved when i spoke with sophos support.

They related that is necessary erase the AP's of the cloud.sophos, so i said that my 30 days evaluatian has expired and they renewed the evaluation and i could erase tha AP's.

After this the AP's searched by ip 1.2.3.4 and are registered in Sophos XG locally.
