XG Firewall - Windows Remote Desktop Disconnecting

Hello,

We are having difficulty with Windows Remote Desktop going through the XG Firewall (using it as the default gateway). The Remote Desktop connections temporarily disconnect every few minutes, then connect back up. It's happening with Windows 7 and Windows 10 Remote Desktop clients, connecting to multiple operating systems including Windows 7, Server 2003, 2008, and 2012. Also, we use multiple ports in addition to the default 3389 port, and all of them do the same thing. We have RDP as an allowed outbound service in the firewall rules.

We also have the Sophos Endpoint client on the workstations.

The FW model and firmware are XG210 (SFOS 16.05.5 MR-5).

I tested changing the default gateways to something else other than the XG and we get no disconnects.

Has anyone had an issue like this?

Thanks, and please let me know if you need any additional configuration info.
