go to Diagnostics > System Graphs and you will see WAN port usage. Uptime interface cannot be retrieved.

For VPN, check logs and if necessary enable debugging.

I use a Netgear FVX538 in another site, which soon will be replaced by an XG210.

Through Netgear, I can see the following statistics.

Is something similar available in Sophos XG135 & XG210?

uptime information is not available on XG. You can search for port down inside Log viewer > System log or configure XG to send email under Administration > Notification Settings
