XG + UTM = Dream Team?

In this scenario how well would a XG and UTM play together?  Could we utilize the best features of the XG and the UTM?

If the WAN switch was replaced by a XG 310 and the HA Devices are SG310 which diagram looks... simple

  • BRO,

you should go for scenario 2, because on scenario One, one sg has the VPN connection and the other one does not. Also you have a point of failure. If XG goes down, your network will be useless.

Buy a couple of Cisco, HP, whatever switches that support clustering. Keep in mind that switches are build to provide this sort of configuration. XG for LAG still needs some improvements.
