My Virtual appliance I cant see the MR6 download.

It is true that the hw appliance saw it for a very short time (about half a minute) but failed to download and install it but after about one hour the update was available again and successfully installed. But look at the alliances account on the MySophos portal there should be updates available.

Let's wait a couple of hour and we will see the new MR to all XG models. I guess talex is writing the thread....

read the release notes and I note there is no update to the APs where as the latest UTM has an update to the AP firmware?

Ian,

i guess the update will come soon using Pattern. Do not forget that XG releases AP and RED firmware using patterns (which for me makes for sense). I do not want to update an entire firmware just because I need to fix AP or RED firmware. Also this allow Sophos to push more AP and RED frequently.
