VoIP issue

Hi , before I start,only configuration I have done in xg 210 firewall is static nat for private ip of VoIP machine to public IP , while calling from public using mobile phone , call is landing for any extension inside LAN , but unable to hear any audio ? What should I do ?

Kavi,

check if there is some denied traffic inside the Firewall logs and create the needed rule. Try by removing IPS filter.

Sir I already stopped ips services , and I haved allowed everything in that nat rule

Kavi,

unload and load the sip module again. Use drop-packet-capture "host x.x.x.x" from console to understand what is blocked.

I din found any traffic in the denied packet , I asking tried tcpdump host ip CMD in cli , it too not showing any dropped packet , any other suggestion ?

Hi Kavi,

Did you try loading/unloading the SIP module in the XG. Refer, Sophos Firewall: VOIP calls over XG may encounter call quality issues.

Alongside, if you do not see any drop captures then this should be a local configuration issue. Take SSH to XG and execute, tcpdump 'port 5060 in the console menu. Initiate a call and capture the dumps. What do we see here?
