Cannot add detected Access Point as Rogue AP in Sophos XG 85 Firewall Wireless section?

Through the Sophos XG 85 Firewall's wireless section I have been scanning for other access points around my location to add them to the rogue ap section.  I've scanned and successfully added around a dozen 3rd party (not affiliated to my network or running on my network) access points to the rogue ap list.  However, every time (as in 100%) a access point with an SSID such as "\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00" or "\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00" (without quotes) is detected, the option to add them to the rogue ap list fails 100% of the time.  There are several of these access points in detectable range.

Why is it not possible to add a detected access point that has a SSID with something like "\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00" to the rogue ap list?  Isn't the logic based on the MAC address and not on the text funk an end-user may manually type in to specify their SSID?  I do not have a problem adding any detected access point that have a "normal" SSID.

Meandering thought - Depending on aluminum foil prices in my region it may be feasible to block the access points that cannot be marked as rogue access points by wrapping offices in said foil.  Humm.  5 mil thickness may be able to hold up to moderate foot traffic, too.  Okay, I'm off to get pricing on a few metric tons of foil.  Brb.
