License issues with HA appliances

We have a few devices in Active/Passive HA connected to SFM.  Since we only tie our licensing to one device, when our passive device becomes Active all licensing in SFM shows as undefined.

Is this a bug/known issue?  Since we don't fail back to primary for obvious reasons, this causes issues with monitoring as everything is greyed out.  Only comes back during next maintenance event where we may reboot the firewalls (i.e. firmware update).

    John,

    There was a know issue that was fixed in MR5 that may be causing your issue if the devices are not on MR5. MR5 did cause some others issues though.

    NC-18208 [License] License does not update in Auxiliary appliance in case of standalone in HA Active-Passive mode

    This particular device is on MR5.  Also, even with the secondary active, the local firewall does report the licensing in sync as expected:

     

     

    Hopefully Sophos can chime in on if this is a bug that is being addressed.  It's not present in the latest KIL as of 6/30/2017.
