STAS WMI Attempting to Access Non-Existant Devices

Our domain controllers are being spammed with DCOM 10009 Errors, all being generated from Sophos STAS v2.1.2.8. We are seeing items such as:

MSG [0x86c] 6/23/2017 08:21:26 : SSO_server_handle_wrkstpoll_req: Workstation IP: 169.254.173.249

within our STAS logs. It should be painfully obvious no device is sitting at this IP address, yet every XX minutes we get hit with multiple event log errors as STAS attempts to communicate with this IP address.

What can we do to eliminate STAS from attempting to contact this address (as well as other non-Windows addresses) using WMI?

I have attached a screenshot of our event logs to provide an idea of what we are dealing with. We have no 192.168 networks, yet we get these errors as seen blow. Pay close attention to the timestamps and consider days on end of this.
