XG330 Port Forwarding with another set of Public IP Addresses

Hi All,

I just want to ask a noob question. I am still new to Sophos as I am from a Cisco background. Anyway, we currently have a single Public IP address but we also bought another set of /29 addresses. My question is, is there a way that I can port forward using the new /29 addresses as an alias or just under the current WAN interface? Or do I need to define the new /29 address in another interface and activate the port. I just want to use the new /29 address to use port forwarding for one of our servers here since the service that I will be advertising conflicts with port 443 that's why I need to forward the server using a different Public IP. Hope I make sense.

Thanks.

Desmond

  • Hi Desmond,

you can add your new sets of /29 addresses as alias to your physical WAN interfaces and from then you can now create new DNAT rules using the new public addresses.

kindly let us know how it goes.
