Export / Import Selective Configuration from XG 135W to XG 330 (OS Version 16.05.3)

Hi, 
 Hope everyone is doing fine. Anyway, I just wanted to ask if I can export and import selective configuration from a XG 135 to XG 330. I just want to copy the Web Filter Settings, SSL VPN, VPN, Authentication, Certificates from the demo unit to the one that we bought. Previously Sophos has advised me that we cannot perform a full export and import since we have differenct models / ports between the two devices.

It is strange that with xml export the import fails. 
 I am sure support will help you. 
 I would be curious to see the api log file from the destination device when you tried the import. There should be the line log saying the error.

Desmond, 
 you can use Import Export feature under Backup and Firmware. Select the items you want to export and make sure to tick "include dependent entity". 
 A TAR file will be generated. Import it on the destination XG. 
 Regarding the full backup, you can import XG backup to a model that has equal or more numbers of Ethernet ports. In this case you can migrate to XG330 with no issue.
