Export / Import Selective Configuration from XG 135W to XG 330 (OS Version 16.05.3)

Hi,

Hope everyone is doing fine. Anyway, I just wanted to ask if I can export and import selective configuration from a XG 135 to XG 330. I just want to copy the Web Filter Settings, SSL VPN, VPN, Authentication, Certificates from the demo unit to the one that we bought. Previously Sophos has advised me that we cannot perform a full export and import since we have differenct models / ports between the two devices.

    I'm having the same problem as described, attempting to restore from a XG 135W to an XG 135. Same number of Ethernet ports and running the same latest firmware as required. When I attempt to restore the backup, it states that it can't be restored to the device: 

     

     

    When I attempt to import the 135W configuration, after about 5 minutes or so, it states that the process will take some time and to check the system logs later. But after waiting hours, the logs don't have entries for neither the initiation, failure or completion.

    Hey Jarem,

     

    It is a pain. hehe. Anyway, I have sent the Sophos Team my full configs and see if they can solve the issue. I will post the updates in this thread. If not, I will have to redo all the installation of our VPN clients again. Hope Sophos can improve on this.
