Discover Mode on virtual XG (ESX)

Hi,

I have setup a virtual XG on an ESX host, with PortC in TAP mode.

I have setup a separate vSwitch with a dedicated physical port on the ESX host and on the physical Netgear switch I've enabled port mirroring of the port the router is connected to through to the physical port on the esx host. I've also enabled Promiscuous mode on the vSwitch.

However I do not seem to be capturing any data from the router.

Is this configuration possible, or will it only work on a physical XG?
