Websites only sometimes blocked by web filtering

Hi,

If I open a website once, it's blocked. If I open it twice, it won't get blocked!

Why does web filtering blocks some websites one time and a few seconds later not?

Meghan,

which version are you running? Check web, firewall and IPS logs. Make sure patterns are updated.

Hi,

I'm running on 16.05 mr5 and the patterns are updated.

In the web and IPS logs are the blocked websites listed.

Meghan,

use the logs to understand what is blocking and why. Create a rule with no IPS and Web filters and see if the issue persists.
