Users and identifying devices

Hi

I can see where Users fit into VPN but not where they fit into LAN traffic.

User Joe Bloggs as a user. How does the XG know it is Joe blogs accessing internet via the firewall?

MAC_Binding. What does it accomplish?

I can create a MAC_Host bvut cannot add MAC_Hosts to a network policy as per documentation.

    Jon,

    you have to enforce the users authentication using Captive Portal, Client Authentication Agent or external directory. On Sophos Website you can find more information on integration with Radius, Active Directory, etc.
