Saving setup information changing from bridge to gateway mode

Question

I have a lot of IP addresses configured for DHCP as well as other setups in my XG firewall. I want to change from Bridge to Gateway mode to enable DDNS and VLAN. Is there a way to preseve this information (export-import for example) if want to use the setup wizard? 
 Alternatively, can I easliy change from Bridge to Gateway without using the wizard? eg. can I just delete the br0 interface and re-assign the individual NIC's to LAN and WAN?

you can use API in order to GET DHCP Server settings, save the XML and then create the DHCP settings again using API.

In order to get DHCP Server config:

https://XGLANIP:4444/webconsole/APIController?reqxml=<Request><Login><Username>admin</Username><Password>passwordhere</Password></Login><Get><DHCPServer></DHCPServer></Get></Request>

You have to enable API under Administration.

I guess you should be able to remove the bridge even without the wizard and keep all the configuration. At least proceed with a backup. More info on API on
