Change iView appliance serial number

Dear All,

 

I downloaded a trial version of iView 100GB with its own serial number from the Sophos Portal.

I’ve tried the product and now I have purchased a valid license for 500GB with enhanced support but I can’t add this license to the appliance because the licence key is valid only for the serial number written on the license certificate that is differente from the installed one.

 

Is there a way to change the appliance serial number or I need to reinstall everything?

    There is a way to change the serial key on the product.You may contact the sales representative or partner whom you have bought the license. You may also contact support to deregister the product so you may add the new serial key without losing data.
