Under Compliance / PCI/ Security I see a lot of attempts (notices) from 116.31.116.6 ; CLI ...User "root" failed to login. Any recommendations or suggestions ?

It's a Chinese IP reported to brute force ssh attack.

I would block by country and probably block all services you do not use from the internet--->your network(s)
