YouTube app not blocking YouTube

make sure that the LAN to WAN firewall rule you using, Decrypt and scan is enabled. You need to import the XG CA inside your browser to avoid certificate error message.

These above are the policies and the firewall rule to block the YouTube, the problem I am facing is that YouTube gets blocked through browser and iOS devices (iPhone, iPad)

 but Android devices still can open YouTube using the YouTube app in their mobile. It shows denied in log report but actually YouTube is running in an Android smartphones.

How it can be fixed?

as I said you need to enable decrypt and scan on the firewall rule which is unchecked at the moment (first screenshot).

here some web-filter URL'S for purely block YouTube in PC & Mobile Device's.

Create Custom Web-Filter in Web->Categories->Add->

Web-filter-Name=>YouTube-Block

Classification=>Productive

Configure Category=>Local

in a Domain Section add Below URL:-

-> www.youtube.com
-> i.ytimg.com
-> googlevideo.com
-> r3---sn-cvh76nez.googlevideo.com
-> android.clients.google.com
-> ssl.google-analytics.com
-> safebrowsing.googleapis.com
-> spoc-pool-gtm.norton.com
-> reports.crashlytics.com
-> yt3.ggpht.com
-> connectivitycheck.gstatic.com

in a Keyword Section add Below URL:-

-> youtube

-> googlevideo

and click SAVE button.
