4-mr4 not happy jane

All my assigned clientless IP address are now wrong. My ipad has the address assigned to the mac book pro. Makes reading the daily reports extremely difficult to understand.

Not happy jane is an extract from a TV advert about an unhappy manager with one of her staff.

    Is this a dhcp issue that you are describing? Static IP mapping is broken and assigning wrong addresses?

    Haven't seen the unhappy jane commercial on this side of the pond but picturing you as unhappy jane sounds funny[:D]

    I have DHCP and clientless users. Took me quite awhile to sort out the names associated with clientless details and have it stable after XG restarts.

    Now the IP addresses have all been re-assigned and the names mean nothing.

    The not happy jane commercial was about a staff member using second grade carrier and missing a delivery.

    If you did not configure any dhcp-reservations then this behavior is quite common and your XG will re-assign the IP-Adresses on each reboot. You need to do a DHCP Reservation for each Clientless user, so each MAC Adress gets the same IP Adress after booting.

    Hi,

    you cannot do reservations with clientless users. And this did not happen in mr3 or any previous version.

    I have assigned addresses in clientless authority.
