Thinking of coming back to Sophos from pfSense

Some history. I used the Sophos UTM9 product for a few years but outgrew the 50 IP address limitation so moved to pfSense. I really liked UTM and was never really happy with pfSense as I always felt UTM had a much better interface and the FW rules were more logically configured. I am not a network engineer, just a tech savvy person who can figure things out pretty easliy. As I am tired of trying to find a good solution to log monitoring and reporting with pfSense I am thinking of coming back to Sophos and using the XG product. The hardware I will be using is:

Jetway Intel N2930
Intel Celeron N2930 2.16 GHz Quad Core Processor
5x Intel Gigabit LAN; 1 Intel i211AT LAN + 4 Intel 82574L LAN (Daughterboard)
8GB RAM
120GB SSD

Some questions I have are:

  1. Will this hardware be enough for a FIOS 750/750 connection?
  2. What are the limitations on the XG home license vs. paid?
  3. Does XG have the ability to email reports as UTM did?
  4. Can I run multiple OpenVPN servers on different ports?
  5. Does XG block all outgoing connections by default like UTM did?

I would appreciate anyone's feedback on this.

Thanks,

Andy
