I am new to Sophos but I am experiencing a bizarre issue. The XG firewall does not have any license for Web Proxy and it is also not using an enterprise CA certificate.
There is a rule to allow traffic from internal network to a WAN interface, when we use port 80, it works fine. When we use 443, it does not get to the WAN interface.
We have looked at every location that has a decryption and scanning of HTTPS and turned them off but we are still getting this weird behavior...
Any thoughts?
Also, Web proxy service does not have the stop option in the UI, only restart. We do not need web proxy just firewall. What can we do to turn of Web proxy service completely?
