Sophos SSL VPN Windows Client - Force Use of Specific Interface

I have installed the Sophos SSL VPN client on a computer running Windows 7 with two interfaces, one being the standard wired LAN connection and the other the wireless LAN connection. When I run the VPN client, it defaults to the LAN connection (presumably because the metric for that connection is 10, while for the WLAN it's 25). Is there an easy way to force the VPN client to instead use the WLAN connection? What I've been doing until now is just disabling the LAN connection, but it's a bit of an inconvenience.

I've tried googling a solution but haven't managed to find an answer that works. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Thank you Luk. Yes, I do realize that this has more to do with the OS and/or VPN client or driver. I appreciate the suggestion regarding priority and am familiar with how to do that, but doing so would result in the same problem I currently face in just disabling the LAN connection - namely, that all other applications would then default to the WLAN connection, and I'd either need to fine a way to force all other apps to use the LAN or keep switching priority back and forth. So my preference would be to find a solution that just requires the VPN client to use the WLAN connection only.

    I am sure you will find it. This is something that goes beyond XG and Firewall in general.
