Sophos XG Antivus Scan Functionality for windows and Linux hosts

Hi Everyone,

 

We are using Sophos firewall XG125 (SFOS 16.05.3 MR-3). With our current Sophos XG device, does it have the capability to scan hosts (Windows and Linux) with antivirus capability without using locally installed antivirus software?

    Saha,

    in order to scan local servers you need an anti-malware running on each machine. If the servers are VM, you can try Sophos Endpoint for Vmware/Hyper-v where you have to install thin agent.
