Video Streaming Bandwidth

Hi,

    Today morning i noticed the firewall report shows many users access Youtube website and they consumed huge bandwidth and am unable to deny the website, so i decide to make it buffer(low) to everyone except IT department in exclude list. i try Traffic shaping but it didn't work properly,

any help would be appreciated thanks.

    Hi ferozsyed, 

    You could block Youtube, but this would need Https Scanning and Micro App Scanning on your Firewall and Application filter settings respectively. Otherwise, you may control the Streaming traffic to a 2kbps minimum. By applying a QOS policy suggested by Luk and may need to drop UDP:443. To drop UDP:443, you could create a Firewall rule and create a custom service with the action drop. Make sure this rule is positioned on the top for the highest priority.
