Hi All,
I have deployed an XG Firewall (16.05.1) in a server, according to KVM instructions. It is fully functioning with no errors or what so ever.
When i try to deploy it inside a single Openstack Cloud, the problems start.
The Auxiliary disk, is turned into a Cinder (Block Storage) Volume and is attached to the Primary disk. All the times and when the Primary boots, it reports "found new auxiliary disk of GB size", meaning 0 Gb size. The only thing i can do is a format to the Auxiliary and procceed. When i issue "show failure-reason" command it reports the same message, with 0 Gb size again. Although the volume is generated as an 80Gb size, when finally boots it shows the below:
SFVH_KV01_SFOS 16.05.1 MR-1# df -kh
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
rootfs 341.9M 2.3M 317.5M 1% /
df: /newroot: No such file or directory
df: /newroot/dev: No such file or directory
df: /newrootrw: No such file or directory
none 341.9M 2.3M 317.5M 1% /
none 1002.4M 20.0K 1002.4M 0% /dev
none 1002.4M 6.7M 995.7M 1% /tmp
none 1002.4M 12.5M 989.9M 1% /dev/shm
/dev/content 1.9G 66.0M 1.8G 3% /content
/dev/var 3.3G 187.2M 3.1G 6% /var
/dev/conf 385.4M 36.7M 348.7M 10% /conf
No matter what i do, i can not seem to make it play as in the native deployment, directly on the Server.
Later on and when i have completed all setup in networking, configuring it as a gateway some functions are inaccessible, like IPS, Firewall - User/Network Rules. When going in these menus the app is searching permanently and no other function can be made but re-login.
Are there any other ways to bypass this or XG isn't made, so far, for this kind of deployment?
Thank you in advance for any input.
BR
