2 internet line and online game and pc speed limit

Hello;

Do not look first for bad english.

There are 2 internet lines in our workplace. 1. line general internet outlets, 2. internet line online games output,
At the same time, it is possible to keep the ping time to a minimum in online games by bringing the speed limit of the computer head (I want my pc and server in to be out of speed limit). Thank you.

  • HI mehmet,

    As a Gamer, I could understand the need for low Latency connection to your Servers.  Just Curious Which Game are you playing. As for me ,I play WOW , Halo and Destiny.

    As for the bandwidth management, you may need to know the Bandwidth of both your internet lines.  Then you may prioritize the traffic from your system to provide a higher priority, that where QOS is configured.

    As the traffic from the game is limited but would need low latency for seamless gameplay. The only control you have is your internal network. You may create a Firewall rule for you Gamestation and route them to another ISP to which I would not expect any bandwidth Utilization. If the Utilization is full or > 80% , I would recommend to increase your Bandwidth or restrict other systems bandwidth via QOS and set priority low.

     So the Latency to your ISP gateway would be <1ms , other than that your ISP would have a Huge role to connect you to the Gaming Servers with lower latency.  You may connect the ISP to your single Gaming station and check the latency. That is the value you would get.

    Hope this would help you further.
