Wrong company name displayed on new XG Firewall

Hi,

We have recently purchased a new XG Firewall for another company.

I have successfully registered the certificate but it shows the wrong company name and I'm also unable to change the default LAN IP.

Can anyone please assist urgently?

    can you show a screenshot of where you see the wrong name?

    For the IP, you can change it using the console or under Network > Interfaces.

    Hi Iferrara,

    Please see the below screenshot. The company name should be InteliSeed and NOT Meridian Agrochemicals (PTY) Ltd.

    I have changed the IP address multiple times and even tried other ports (3 & 4). It is almost as if the IP ranges is connected to the company name/certificate? Because there's only 2 IP ranges that works, 1 being the default IP range (172.16.16.x) and the same IP range assigned to Meridian (x.x.7.x).

    I hope it makes sense?

    Bertus,

    contact your Sophos Sales representative in order to change the Company name.

    Regarding the appliance, I advice you to reset to factory default using the console option 5 > 1 and you have a fresh appliance with no data on it.
