Did the SSL VPN client bug get fixed?

Question

A while back, when Firmware Version 16.x was available, there was a known issue with the Sophos SSL VPN client requiring a workaround (downloading open vpn client) to allow ssl vpn clients to work. 
 
 Has this been resolved in 16.05? 
 
 We are experiencing issues with our Skype for Business, and I want to upgrade the firewall to the latest version, but pushing out a SSL VPN workaround is not ideal.

We're a "new" XG deployment, so I didn't have the original problem and as such I can't answer. I just know that we're using the Sophos SSL VPN client that shipped with the most recent firmware 16.05.2-MR2 and everything seems to work fine.
