Quarantine Digest to use hostname instead of IP address for My Account?

Just recently installed and enabled our XG and have run into an immediate issue with the Quarantine Digest.  The My Account link it sends out is an HTTPS link to the IP address of the XG.  Our wildcard SSL certificate is of course based on our hostname.  As a result, our users get prompted about the mismatched cert when they click My Account (in different ways in different browsers).

Has anyone else run into this?

Has anyone else resolved this?

Is there a way to change the My Account link to support the hostname instead of the IP?

Thanks,

Chris

  • I did mention it to Sophos sometime ago, it is send the developers team but its not yet implemented.

Another anoying issue is that when you got 1 user with multiple email addresses you get also multiple Quarantine digests mails the mails are duplicates.

This would also be solved someday.

The hostname option is really needed when you're not home you still can release an email, now it can only be done when home on home-lan
