Insert X-Forwarded-For in Request

Hi,

I am using Sophos XG105 (SFOS 15.01.0 MR-1.1) as a firewall in front of my NGINX webserver.

NGINX logs show all requests coming from the XG DMZ interface.

Is there a way to configure Sophos XG to insert the X-Forwarded-For in the http request ?

My current policy is as follows:

Business Application Rule -> Port Forwarding TCP 443 from WAN to DMZ

In Routing: Rewrite source address (Masquerading) with Create Reflexive Rule On

Thanks !

  • If you are not using the same link for both upstream and downstream traffic, you can disable Rewrite source address (Masquerading) which should solve your issue.

If you are using the same WAN link for both internet access and hosting the Nginx server, you (and I too) wait for a reply from Sophos :)
