Lan Device access in public

Hi;

 

I would like to access one of the Device which is there in lan side ; in the public(internet from outside /anywhere) i need to access & am accessing through dyndns also.

 

How to write the NAT for this XG firwall 105?

    HI nirmal, 

    Scenario 1: If you want to NAT with the Pubic address on the XG onto the Private address of the server 

    You may create a DNAT rule or a WAF rule as per the port definition if you wish to use HTTPS or HTTP you may use "Web Server Protection Rule"  otherwise you may use DNAT rule. 

    Scenario 2: If you have a Public address on the server itself and is not used  on XG itself then you may configure Proxy Arp , and may need to configure a Rule with no NAT applied and few console arp entry as per the KB article
